Information and purposes

We process contact and account details, order and payment-status information, booking details, correspondence and the website or device information needed for your requested service. Store technology also processes connection, device, security and usage information. Information comes from you, your interactions with the store and the providers supporting those interactions.

We use the information to answer enquiries, arrange and deliver services, administer subscriptions, handle complaints, secure the store and maintain required business records. Contract performance and steps you request before a contract are the basis for service administration. Legal obligations support required records; our legitimate interests support proportionate security, fraud prevention and management of claims. Consent applies where required for optional marketing or non-essential tracking. Sending an enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing.

Service providers

Shopify hosts the store and supports checkout, payments and subscriptions. Hoppy supports appointment booking. Fastmail supports email and calendar correspondence. Our authorised accountants receive information needed for accounting and compliance. Relevant providers receive information necessary for their functions; payment-card details are handled through the payment providers rather than ordinary enquiry forms.

Shopify may also process information for its own purposes under its consumer privacy policy. Its privacy-request service is available at Shopify Privacy Portal. External sites and services have their own privacy notices.

International processing and retention

Providers may process information outside your country. Where EEA transfer restrictions apply, the relevant processing requires an applicable adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses. Contact us for information about the arrangements relevant to your data.

Retention depends on the purpose: enquiries while needed to respond and follow up; service and account records while needed to deliver and administer the relationship; transaction records for applicable accounting and legal periods; and records necessary to establish, exercise or defend claims for the applicable period. Records are not deleted where a legal obligation requires retention. We can explain the criteria applicable to a particular record on request.

Your choices and rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, object to processing and withdraw consent. Withdrawal does not affect prior lawful processing. Contact info@secludeditaid.com; proportionate identity checks may be needed. You may complain to your competent supervisory authority, including Portugal’s CNPD. These rights are subject to applicable legal conditions.

Use any marketing unsubscribe link to stop promotional messages. Necessary service and account messages may still be sent. Cookie and tracking choices are separate from consent to marketing.

Safe communication and changes

Do not submit passwords, payment credentials or unnecessary sensitive information in ordinary forms. Remote access is arranged separately for the agreed service. We may update this notice to reflect actual changes, with additional notice where required. No security system can promise absolute protection.

Shopify Network Intelligence

Shopify Network Intelligence is enabled for this store. It combines information from interactions with this store, other merchants and Shopify to improve products, advertising targeting and personalisation. Shopify is responsible for processing for its own purposes, as explained in its consumer privacy policy linked above.
